The Tsunami Emergency Recovery Program for Sri Lange aims to support the efforts of the Government of Sri Lanka to: (i) Reduce the immediate suffering resulting from the effects of the tsunami and restore livelihoods destroyed by the tsunami; (ii) Restore basic services to the affected population; and (iii) Start the recovery and reconstruction process.
